Guests have enjoyed authentic Italian food on the Za’s patio or inside the restaurant for decades, and now Za’s is unveiling its newly renovated event and private dining space! Able to accommodate 75 to 100 people, the Za’s event space is a unique venue on Devine Street and in downtown Columbia, booking up multiple days and nights each week. The renovation creates a fresh and exciting ambiance while still keeping the familiar Za’s character that captivates Columbia. Mashburn Construction, with the help of interior designer Cindy Welborn, the original designer of the iconic wrought iron tree in the Za’s bar, created a clean, vibrant, colorful space perfect for any large gathering. The versatile venue can accommodate a wide array of events — from baby showers to corporate events to nonprofit fundraisers to Gamecock pep rallies and football viewing parties!
Za’s offers its signature Italian fare for each event with a special event space menu. There are two separate rooms — the smaller room can hold up to 20 adults (seated), and a larger room can accommodate up to 50 adults (seated). Ideal for gathering with friends, work colleagues, or family!
