Leslie Pitner, DDS, MS, of Pitner Orthodontics is proud to continue to be one of the top orthodontists in Columbia. Continuing the tradition begun by her father, Dr. John Pitner, five decades ago in 1973, she has built a reputation as one of the most innovative orthodontists in the Southeast. With three locations in downtown Columbia, Irmo, and Chapin, Pitner Orthodontics offers options for everyone from age 8 to 80.

“Each day I’m grateful for the opportunity to help improve people’s lives,” says Dr. Pitner. “Your smile changes how others see you and how you see yourself, and a beautiful smile (with a comfortable bite) is important for your health and well-being. Unfortunately, many people think orthodontics is only for kids, but the truth is, almost half of our patients are adults.”

Dr. Pitner is preparing to embark on the next 50 years by adding Marshall Carroll, DMD, to the practice. Dr. Carroll and his wife Brooke are both Columbia natives delighted to be able to return to their home town. “I’m so excited to become part of this tradition of excellent orthodontic care rooted right here in Columbia,” says Dr. Carroll.
