Karen L. Kramer, DDS, FAGD, is very honored to have been chosen one of the Midlands Top Dentists. Dr. Kramer relocated to Columbia in 1988 from New York to complete the General Practice Residency at Palmetto Richland Hospital. In her private practice, Dr. Kramer is totally focused on giving her patients dedicated personal attention. To achieve this, she only schedules one patient at a time.

“It is my responsibility to coach my patients along their journeys to whatever levels of dental health they want to achieve,” Dr. Kramer says. “If they want a smile makeover, we can do that, as well as enhance their overall appearance with Botox. If they have bite problems, we can address that. If they are apprehensive and need IV sedation, we can do that, too. My earlier years as an emergency room nurse have made me very comfortable with people with complicated medical issues. We are here to care for our folks in whatever way is best for each individual person. I love to help my patients chew comfortably and smile proudly.”
