Substance misuse in our state and local communities is prevalent and deadly. In fact, one in eight suffers from a substance use disorder and only 10 percent receive the treatment they need. Many individuals and families who consider treatment for alcohol or drug misuse cannot afford the staggering costs, and the journey to recovery can be isolating and difficult.

The LRADAC Foundation works to create a community that embraces recovery and provides much-needed support for those who are thinking about taking their first steps towards recovery. Our mission is to reduce substance misuse as a leading cause of family collapse and harm to children by raising support for families and our programs.

End of year gifts and other fundraising efforts throughout the year allow the LRADAC Foundation to help provide recovery assistance for uninsured patients or those facing financial hardships.
