David Gregg Hodges, Mary Hodges Burke, and Cam Carter Smith are pleased to announce Christopher Lee Burke has joined the newly named insurance and investment firm, Hodges Burke Financial. Before joining his wife, Mary Burke, in the risk management business, Chris was a physician practice leader with South Carolina’s largest hospital system for more than a decade. Chris has a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals and protect the legacy left for their families.
Chris is a native of Edgefield, South Carolina. He met Mary at Clemson University and graduated from Clemson in 2009. Mary and Chris have three daughters and live in Columbia. Chris serves on the diaconate at First Presbyterian Church and is an officer of the St. Andrews Society.
Mary is a past member of Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Board, is on the executive committee for Satchel Ford Elementary School PTO, and is a Sunday school teacher at First Presbyterian Church.
David is the chair of South Carolina Humanities and serves on The Cooperative Ministry board.
