Back in 1992, Lee Gantt pitched in and ran the books from a makeshift office in their basement when her husband, Fred, started his lawn gig. She still manages things behind the scenes but has since been upgraded from dial-up internet. Fast forward 30 years, and their daughter, Blake, practically raised at Hay Hill, joined the business and handles marketing, payroll, and human resources. Like her mom, she too works alongside her husband, Bennett Payne.
Caroline Castles is no stranger to the family business lifestyle either, as she grew up amongst her family’s construction business. She joined Hay Hill soon after marrying Lee and Fred’s nephew, Ray Castles. Caroline orchestrates floral magic and maintenance division administration. Working with family is one joy, but the real enchantment lies in the strong bond among Lee, Blake, Caroline, and their husbands, turning each day at Hay Hill into a wonderful family adventure.
