Ambient Media was established by Rufus Carson and Joe Bates in 2009, having proudly served thousands of celebrations and parties. Their lighting designs have been enjoyed in many event venues in Columbia and throughout South Carolina, some at homes, yards, large tents, and businesses. With expertise in rigging, power management, and lighting design, Ambient Media has helped alleviate stress and sometimes DIY disasters. Creating an ambient mood is a rewarding challenge that often involves café lighting, mini-light strings, chandeliers, up lighting, fabric treatments to ceilings, backdrops, and special effects. A key ingredient to their success is the AM crew, who are all dedicated, skilled, and experienced, with each bringing different talents.
Event planners and creative clients have described Ambient Media as their favorite “multi-tool” for beautiful events.
