Summer is here and the days are longer, temperatures are hotter, and Rudy Mancke is back for another installment of the Nature of Seasons series. The arrival of the summer solstice, aka the longest and seemingly hottest day of the year in Cola, will be celebrated with our lunch time lecture series with the University of South Carolina’s Naturalist-In- Residence. As usual, we will outside McKissick Museum on the Historic Horseshoe for 12 – 1pm. Free and open to the public, guests are encouraged to bring items of interest for Rudy to examine, but please no live animals.
