Columbia – Shandon United Methodist Church is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated 19th Annual Garage Sale, proudly sponsored by the United Women in Faith. Mark your calendars for this exciting event, taking place on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The sale will be held at the Shandon United Methodist Church located at 3407 Devine St., Columbia, conveniently situated on the corner of Devine, Millwood, and Adger. Prepare to be amazed as you step into a sprawling full-size gymnasium bursting with a wide array of items, all organized and priced at unbeatable bargains. From CDs, DVDs, and lamps to furniture, toys, holiday decorations, kitchenware, linens, framed art, crafts, and tools, there is something for everyone. Please note that cash will be the only accepted form of payment.
This annual Garage Sale serves as the church’s primary fundraising event, and we are proud to declare that every penny generated will be donated to charities. Over the past 18 years, we have estimated that our contributions have surpassed half a million dollars, benefiting renowned organizations such as the Harvest Hope Food Bank, Cooperative Ministries, SisterCare, Family Shelter, the Free Medical Clinic, and Killingsworth Home.
