Honk Jr. at Town Theatre

Don’t miss what everyone is squawking about – Honk! Jr. at Town Theatre! The show is a musical reinvention of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Ugly Duckling with humor, wit and a flock of unique characters who discover being different is not a bad thing to be.

Ugly doesn’t look the same as duckling brothers and sisters. And, to make it worse, all of the animals on the farm are quick to notice Ugly’s differences. Though his mother tries hard to protect him, Ugly just can’t help but feel rather foul about himself. He finds himself on the adventure of a lifetime and, without knowing it, he is one step ahead of a very very hungry Cat.

Town Theatre’s production is the culmination of the Fall 2023 Youth Theatre Traditional Program. 90 students from throughout the Midlands and beyond will take the stage in four shows over the course of the weekend.
