Columbia Baroque Concert: “La Musica Bella”

Please join us as Nicholas Jones hosts the Columbia Baroque program, “La Musica Bella”, high-lighting the contributions of women in the baroque as composers and performers by featuring beautiful songs for mezzo-soprano and lute by Francesca Caccini and her father, Guilio Caccini. In addition, guest pianist, David Cutler joins violinist, Erika Cutler for a reimagined interpretation of Castello, plus music for solo lute and solo recorder.
All performers for the evening are Brittnee Siemon, mezzo-soprano; Jean Hein, baroque recorder; Mary Hostetler Hoyt, baroque violin; Erika Cutler, baroque violin; Hazel Ketchum, lute and ba-roque guitar; David Cutler, piano and Nicholas R. Jones, host.
