Cocktail 101: A Balancing Act

Step into the world of cocktails with Jake Cooper as your guide! Join us for class downstairs in Smoked’s speakeasy, “The Burnline” and embark on your mixology journey. Learn about the way that different ingredients interact in cocktails and why it’s so important to balance flavors. Balance is the most important piece of the puzzle when we create new cocktails at Smoked, and learning to properly balance drinks at home will make a world of difference. Participants will have the opportunity to taste cocktails with different balances side by side. They’ll never make a cocktail without a jigger again!
