Forget theaters and drive-ins — instead, experience a wildly different twist on family movies with the all-new ZOOvie Nights, now at Riverbanks Zoo. Grab your lawn chair and enjoy family-friendly, outdoor movies in the Zoo’s Palmetto Plaza on select Friday nights this summer.
“We are excited to bring the big screen to Riverbanks,” says Tommy Stringfellow, chief operating officer at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. “ZOOvie Nights will add a new level of fun to the traditional movie night, while giving families another affordable opportunity to enjoy the Zoo.”
There will be plenty to do before showtime. While most of the zoo’s animals will be off exhibit catching some Zs, Riverbanks’ Endangered Species Carousel, Spots n’ Stripes Railroad and Wild Adventures Climbing Wall will be open until 8:30 p.m. each ZOOvie Night. Concessions also will be available for purchase.
