Carolina Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care
Regardless of age, the opportunity to learn new things in broadening your horizons is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. In retirement, engaging your mind and challenging your intellect supports a more vital presence and, simply put, is just plain fun.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn more about song writing. Or you might yearn for more knowledge about the American government or enjoy lectures given by accomplished authors.
At Carolina Gardens, we believe that now is your time. The Life-Long Learning Series brings unique speakers from around the area to you, giving you direct access to interesting takes on a variety of topics, ranging from the serious to the laugh-out-loud stories of a humorist. By bringing a form of continuing education into the assisted living setting, our goal is to redefine the “old school” identity of retirement living. We’re not satisfied to “think outside the box.” We’ve decided to throw the box away.
As a community designed for seniors, we know that there is more to retirement living than bingo and scenic rides. We challenge those who chose to live at Carolina Gardens to be engaged, to be adventurous and to rethink what retirement living can be.
Every day we learn new ways to enhance how we age, ways to minimize the impacts of aging on the body and how to decrease the risks of cognitive impairment by exercising our brains. When something as simple as this can contribute so much to a healthier life, the choice is simple.
We’re often asked if assisted living can really be different. Our answer? Yes! It can be different … let us show you how.
