Daybreak Adult Care Services
Going on 15 years in business, Daybreak Adult Care Services has provided nonmedical services to seniors in their own homes. Seniors’ needs can vary greatly — some might just need someone to help them run errands or take care of a pet. Others might need around-the-clock assistance. Care is generally given in private residences, but some clients are in assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Daybreak employs about 180 workers. “We’re a locally owned business with many resources,” Owner Coker Day states. “If a caregiver can’t make it to work one day, someone else will be there. Because we make the decisions, we are flexible and are able to take special care of our clients.” Daybreak doesn’t want “a revolving door” of people coming in and out. “We do everything in our power to make sure you don’t have too many caregivers and that you have consistent caregivers following your personalized care plan.”
Daybreak Adult Care serves clients in Columbia, Lexington, Aiken and Hilton Head.
