This was another successful year for Columbia Metropolitan’s Dream Home. Located in the Saluda River Club of Lexington, the Dream Home was showcased to the public from Oct. 14 to 30. It was built by Tony Carnagio of Lady Street Builders and became a reality thanks to the combined efforts of all of our sponsors, including Saluda River Club, SCE&G, WLTX and WTCB, as well as local suppliers and designers. On behalf of everyone at Columbia Metropolitan, thank you for a highly successful fundraiser!
The Dream Home boasted fine craftsmanship and exquisite interior design both inside and out. The front porch and patio area provided a warm and colorful welcome into the home. Inside, 12 rooms were expertly designed, working seamlessly with each other to create a cohesive and balanced color scheme of both neutral and vibrant shades. The rooms in the carriage house carried the tones from the main house with added depth to create a pleasing addition to the already striking home.
Proceeds from tickets to the Dream Home benefitted the American Cancer Society, and thanks to you, we raised nearly $8,000 for cancer research.
