CMM offered fourth grade art classrooms across the Midlands an opportunity to select three student representatives from each school to submit a piece of art in our CMM Young Creatives Competition. We were so pleased with the many entries and offer our compliments and best wishes to all of the young artists who competed. We are excited to congratulate Kingston Belton for his winning piece!
Kingston is 10 years old and excels in Ginger Henson’s art class at Bookman Road Elementary. His favorite subject is math, and he enjoys cultivating his creative side through painting, drawing and working with clay. “My favorite part is that we get to do hands-on activities,” he says. His painting of an aspen forest was inspired by the work of Jennifer Vranes. “I was inspired by her amazing art, so I thought I could try to do my own,” he shares.
