Travis W. Mize, DMD, MHS

Travis W. Mize, DMD, MHS, is humbled to again be selected as a Top Dentist by his peers in the dental community. Dr. Mize is board-certified by The American Board of Periodontology in periodontology and implant surgery and has been in full-time private practice since finishing his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2010. He provides services that include laser therapy to treat gum disease, periodontal plastic procedures, and implant surgery. IV sedation is also provided for those with dental anxiety.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Mize remains committed to education by training the residents as a clinical instructor at Harvard University and as a clinical assistant professor at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He was presented with the prestigious American Academy of Periodontology Educator Award by Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in 2015 for his contributions to education.
