Jennifer Rushing has been an educator for 18 years. Starting her career teaching in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classrooms helped her to develop a love for inquisitive and excited learning for students. She spent several years as a Digital Resource Coach, working closely with K-8 teachers to integrate technology into their instruction, before joining the Med Pro 21 project team. As the recruitment and implementation coordinator, Mrs. Rushing works with all four Med Pro 21 schools to implement the grant project with fidelity and ensure all families in Richland Two are aware of the opportunities the continuum has available.
Mrs. Rushing is passionate about her work with magnet programs as she shares the belief that we should be able to eliminate minority group isolation and make schools equitable for all. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from The University of South Carolina. Mrs. Rushing has been in the Richland Two family for more than 10 years. When she is not in a Med Pro school, you can find her reading, hiking, and/or spending time with her family. She resides in Forest Acres with her two children, husband, and golden retriever.
