Dr. Ezetta Washington Myers, Magnet Curriculum Specialist

From a family of educators, Dr. Ezetta Washington Myers has been in the profession for over 25 years. She taught in Pennsylvania and North Carolina before coming to South Carolina. She was employed with Richland School District One prior to joining the Richland Two family in 2007. Having obtained an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Spelman College, she continued at The University of South Carolina earning a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in mathematics. Dr. Myers earned her Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction and a focus on secondary mathematics education. Prior to leading Kelly Mill’s Med Pro Magnet, Dr. Myers taught Algebra I and varying levels of math classes in the INC., school-within-a-school magnet program. Her focus continues to be that of helping all students build a strong foundation.
At Kelly Mill, Dr. Myers works with the administration, faculty, and staff to build a culture where each student is accepted and has many opportunities to excel in their chosen path. Her biggest accomplishment is being a proud mom to her three sons: Theo, Tre, and Ty.
