Keep the Midlands Beautiful is a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, inspire, and empower citizens to improve the places where they live, work, and play through litter prevention, recycling, and beautification efforts. Each year, more than 5,000 residents volunteer to support this mission, including more than 300 groups regularly removing litter on area roads and waterways in Richland and Lexington counties, schools and businesses coming together to implement recycling programs, and communities pursuing beautification projects.
