KeenanSuggs merged with HUB International in August 2016. Their leadership determined a need for more resources to help clients be successful. The firm’s selection process was based on three priorities:
• Employees and clients
• Resources and capabilities
• Autonomy and flexibility
After narrowing choices to four, HUB International was the obvious choice because it was the only one fulfilling each priority.
HUB is the seventh largest insurance, benefits, and risk services broker in the world and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Offering a broad menu of property and casualty, employee benefits, personal lines, investment, and risk management products and service, HUB also brings unmatched global capabilities to international clients.
HUB’s unique regional operating structure enables KeenanSuggs/HUB to deliver local services and respond quickly to changing market conditions with:
• Preferred broker status with all national as well as key regional insurance companies
• Premium volume to provide negotiating leverage
• Direct access to international risk management consulting and insurance brokerage services via the Worldwide Broker Network.
HUB Carolinas is a region composed of North and South Carolina and headquartered in Columbia. Tommy Suggs is the regional president and CEO, and Mitch Watson is the COO.
Offices are located in Bluffton, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Hilton Head Island, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and in Burlington, Cary, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh, North Carolina.
Clients of HUB Carolinas have access to all HUB resources and capabilities domestically and internationally. Regardless of the location, the KeenanSuggs/HUB team works in partnership with clients to leverage the firm’s expertise and resources domestically and globally.
KeenanSuggs/HUB’s goal is to continue to provide competitive insurance, benefits, and risk services to clients with exceptional customer service, which has been the recognized trademark and standard for more than 60 years.
