In 1937, Green’s founder, Leonard Greenbaum, opened Green’s package store in Atlanta. In the following decades, more Green’s Beverage Stores opened in Myrtle Beach and Greenville with the downtown Columbia store opening in 1984, adjacent to California Dreaming. Green’s now has three locations in Columbia with two large warehouses on Harbison Boulevard and Garners Ferry Road. Almost 100 years later, Green’s remains a small, family-owned and operated business that considers its employees and associates extended family.
