Family Dental Health of Forest Acres merged with Berger Dental Group on Oct. 2, 2023, and is a full-service practice that provides most dental procedures under one roof. We have the modern technology that allows the best in diagnostics and treatment.

Family Dental Health provides both IV sedation and oral sedation options, which is unique for the broad range of services we provide. We are in network with many major insurance plans.

Molly Pincelli, DMD, is a 2018 graduate of MUSC Dental School, and she completed a residency at Prisma Richland Hospital. She is an excellent clinician and has practiced for about five years with Berger Dental Group and Family Dental Health, combined. She and Luke, her husband, have three lovely young children. Dr. Pincelli is very talented and possesses a wide range of dental abilities.

David Hicklin, DMD, is a 2006 graduate of MUSC Dental School and Palmetto Health residency. He comes to Family Dental Health from Prisma Richland’s residency program, where he served as the director for the past 15 years. He is skilled in all phases of dental care and has placed thousands of implants. He is competent and experienced in performing IV sedation surgery, as well as other phases of dentistry. He and Susanne, his wife, are blessed with twins.

Robert Berger, DDS, is a long-time fixture in Columbia’s dental community. He is very pleased that Family Dental Health has taken over the practice while still maintaining the same high standards. He also provides all phases of dental care, including IV cases, restorative cases, implants, and many other types of surgeries.
