Ezekiel Ministries partners with local churches to help recruit loving adult mentors who will make a long-term investment in children’s lives. We strive to provide positive role models through our mentoring program, apprenticeship program, and after-school programs. Our programs focus on spiritual well-being, and after-school programs have an intensive focus on reading, STEAM, and character-building. At Ezekiel Ministries, we believe that every child can beat the odds.
We have served dozens of children through our after-school programs in Downtown Columbia, Lexington, and White Knoll. In the past year, we have matched an additional 25 children with mentors, totaling 77 matches.
According to research done by Mentoring.org, one in three young people will grow up without a mentor. We’ve seen the positive impact mentoring has on education, social-emotional growth, and life trajectory. We hope that communities will be forever changed through the children and families we serve.
