Thomas Chandler – A Panel Discussion

FreeMcKissick Museum is proud to announce that it will be hosting an exciting event, Thomas Chandler – A Panel Discussion, on Saturday, April 20th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Join us as this panel explores a range of topics including recent archaeological research, clay analysis, and the impact of Chandler on the Edgefield pottery story. This event will be sure to delight pottery and history enthusiasts of all levels. This panel will include scholars and artisans like John A. Burrison, David Stuempfle, Philip Wingard, Robert Hunter and Carl Steen. We’re particularly excited about the presentation of groundbreaking research from Lindsay Bloch, who has been conducting elemental analyses of Edgefield pottery sherds. This event is free and open to the public.
