The New York based Harlem Quartet is a fast rising, string quartet developing a unique music style that combines a traditional quartet canon with Jazz, Latin, and Contemporary music. The “Cincinnati Enquirer” says that the group is “bringing a new attitude to classical music, one that is fresh, bracing, and intelligent.” The Harlem Quartet has collaborated with distinguished artists such as classical pianists Michael Brown, Awadagin Pratt, Misha Dichter, and Fei-Fei; Jazz pianists Chick Corea and Aldo López-Gavilán.
