Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series 2021

Are you ready for an adventure? Join academically talented middle and high school students, like you, from across the country for some serious summer fun.
Program Basics
The CMS Adventures Series embraces healthy living, community service and social interaction in an interactive learning environment.
Admission and acceptance into the program is selective and courses fill quickly, so don’t miss out!
Returning scholars (Anyone that has previously participated in our CMS or in a Duke TIP Academic Adventures program or already registered – can log into an existing account to apply.
Courses are based out of UofSC Columbia.
Scholars can enroll in one class per week.
All participants must provide a.) a negative COVID-19 PCR test administered within 72 hours of arrival; b.) documentation of positive COVID PCR or antibody test within 90 days; OR c.) proof of COVID vaccination.
Class size is limited to 20 scholars per course, unless otherwise noted.
The program starts with orientation on Sunday afternoon for all scholars. Class instruction is held Monday through Friday and ends with an exciting presentation from our scholars for parents on Friday at 1 p.m. Class instruction is held 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday followed by afternoon activities. Commuters check out daily between 4:30-5 p.m. Residential and Commuter Plus students enjoy dinner and evening activities. View a typical day at camp and a sample class schedule.
Course fees depend on the type of enrollment. You may choose from: residential, commuter and commuter plus evening. Additional lab and transportation fees apply to these courses – Computer Gaming, Vex Robotics, Pharmacy, Law, Medicine-Ultrasound, Aerospace, Creative Writing, Information Technology, Culinary Arts, Intro to Mechanical Engineering, and 3D Printing.

Partial scholarships are also available.
