Columbia’s Original Riverfront Brewery and Biergarten, Bierkeller Columbia, will hold its annual Oktoberfest for three (3) full weekends this year. The first weekend begins this Friday, September 20, at 4 PM. Now in its second year, Bierkeller’s Oktoberfest celebration truly marks the high point of the brewery’s festival season. This year will feature multiple bands, including old favorites such as The Channelheimers and newcomers such as Vince Demore and Polka Cola – and of course beer and food specials.

Recently named Best Brewpub by the readers of the (Columbia, SC) Free Times, Bierkeller Columbia is known for its year-round festive feeling, fun, and great beer and food. That German authenticity is on full display at Oktoberfest. Think fresh Festmärzen bier; traditional food specials including pretzels with bier cheese, schnitzel, sauerkraut, and, of course, sausages; live music; family fun; and vendor booths featuring local artisans.
