Son of legend Woody Guthrie (“This Land is Your Land”), Arlo’s career exploded with 1967’s Alice’s Restaurant and other hits including “Coming in to Los Angeles” and “City of New Orleans.” Arlo returns to Newberry with his Alice’s Restaurant tour alongside his daughter Sarah Guthrie. His music helped to foster a new commitment of his generation to social consciousness and activism.
