Mark your calendars! Monday, March 2 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., celebrate fine wine and food while benefitting the S.C. Philharmonic at its third annual event: Tasting Notes. This past year boasted more than 400 attendees, 16 of the Midlands’ best restaurants and more than 50 wines for sampling. This year, the “bar” is raised even higher.
Guests will sample high-end wine from around the world such as Darioush, Taittinger and St. Supery — to name a few, sample beers from River Rat Brewery, enjoy epicurean delights from the Midlands’ finest restaurants and enjoy specialty cigars on the terrace …if that’s your thing. Tasting Notes attendees will have the opportunity to purchase wine they have tasted, as well as bid on specialty wines and other items in the silent auction. Music will be provided by the Reggie Sullivan Quartet and Dreher High School Steel Band.
Tickets are $75 a piece and are available at SCPhilharmonic.com/TastingNotes or by calling (803) 254-PHIL (7445). The event will be held at the S.C. State Museum and is business casual.
