Planning a wedding can be both magical and stressful. The St. Andrews Woman’s Club hopes to help alleviate some of that stress by offering a one-stop shopping experience for all your wedding service needs at their 31st Annual Bridal Showcase to be held on Sunday, Feb. 26.
This year’s showcase features more than 100 exhibit booths displaying services and merchandise from florists, caterers, photographers, videographers, musicians, wedding consultants and more. Door prizes, including a five-night honeymoon cruise, will be awarded in the afternoon.
Fashion shows at 1 and 3 p.m. highlight the latest trends in bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride dresses, as well as tuxedos.
Representatives from the bridal and tuxedo shops – as well as wedding and reception sites, travel agencies and retail stores – will be on-hand to answer questions and provide guidance to help brides and their families through the planning process.
The St. Andrews Woman’s Club Bridal Showcase is the longest running bridal show in the Midlands and the only show whose mission remains community service, generating funds that are donated to local charitable organizations and that support the hands-on community service projects of the St. Andrews Woman’s Club. During its 30-year history, the Bridal Showcase has helped contribute nearly $1,000,000 to local non-profits.
The St. Andrews Woman’s Club was organized in 1963 to encourage women to promote educational, social and civic progress. It has more than 65 members and is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the oldest and largest volunteer organization for women in the world.
Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children, and parking is $2. More information and advanced tickets can be found and purchased at www.sawc-sc.org.
