There is no view in Columbia that can quite match the beauty of the view that comes from Laurel Crest’s Three Rivers Room, unless it is the view that comes from one of many apartment-style homes that looks over the converging Saluda and Broad Rivers that form the Congaree River.
Toward one end of Laurel Crest’s nineteen acre campus, a stone’s throw from the river in West Columbia, sits Laurel Crest’s Three Rivers Room. This gem provides a wonderful space where Laurel Crest residents and guests celebrate, dance, worship, dine and even marry! Just this past August, Laurel Crest celebrated its 20th anniversary of providing an active and caring community by hosting an anniversary party in the Three Rivers Room featuring the Dick Goodwin Jazz Quintet. Laurel Crest’s kitchen provided the catering and residents and guests continue to comment how the culinary team is raising the bar for themselves year after year. This October, Laurel Crest’s Three Rivers Room will host a concert by the Capital City Big Band. On a weekly basis the Three Rivers Room is a place of worship where Laurel Crest’s chaplain leads the residents in worship together. When not in use for scheduled functions, residents can use the room for just about anything! Residents have used this wonderful amenity for a wide array of reasons including the wedding of a grandchild, an 80th birthday party and a 50th wedding anniversary celebration.
Like the serene views afforded by the Three Rivers Room and many of our residents’ homes, the experience of living at Laurel Crest also can not be matched. Laurel Crest is a community that is dedicated to enriching the lives of all who make Laurel Crest their home and this is accomplished by offering an extensive variety of programs and services. The team of Laurel Crest employees is committed to providing a lifestyle where concerns about unmet needs simply do not exist. As a continuing care retirement community, Laurel Crest provides assisted living and nursing care as residents’ needs change.
Come see the best view Columbia has to offer and experience what makes life at Laurel Crest priceless.
