It’s that time of year when everyone is starting to think about vacations, but before you head to the beach consider a 10-day staycation instead. The Indie Grits Film Festival is back in action and would love to have you join in the fun. The festival features great music, food and films, as well as family-friendly events so you can even bring the kids along. And this year, Indie Grits is organized so that you don’t have to pick and choose between events – you can attend the Spork in Hand Puppet Slam and also make it to see Cinemovements, a unique collaboration that pairs conductor Morihiko Nakahara and the South Carolina Philharmonic with original films.
The events kick off on April 12 at 7 p.m. with an Opening Party on Main Street. Don’t miss out on the fun!
