Jill Moylan grew up on a farm in the Piedmont of South Carolina and remembers her family’s annual
adventure searching through the woods and rolling fields for the perfect cedar tree to adorn the farmhouse. Her husband John grew up in the Lowcountry, where he remembers walking down his hometown’s beautifully decorated main street after working in his family’s gift shop on Christmas Eve. Jill and John imagine that their own children, who grew up right here in Columbia, will enjoy their own holiday memories, whether as playing the role of cantankerous sheep in the church Christmas pageant, shopping for Families Helping Families, or annual holiday celebrations with neighbors and friends.
