How did your business begin?
Desiring the best for our clients and our practice, we joined Raymond James in April 2022 to form Vision Wealth Advisors. We each had over 20 years of industry experience. Together with Operations Manager Becky Brooks and Financial Advisor Shawn Roberts, Vision Wealth Advisors serves Midlands families, business owners, and retirees. The move to independence was rooted in the desire to provide a modern and sophisticated experience for clients and to offer unbiased financial advice to the families we serve.
What differentiates your business from other specialists in the field?
Moving to an independent financial advisory firm was liberating. We now have one focus: the clients we serve. We can provide specific advice and offerings to fit individual needs. We made significant investments in technology to provide our clients with a state-of-the-art experience. This robust platform helps us stay connected with clients wherever they are and whenever they need help or guidance. Our success is measured by the strength of our client relationships. We care deeply for the families we serve and value their trust.
What do you like best about your line of work?
The ability to interact with each of our clients makes each day rewarding. We love seeing our clients and their families accomplish their goals and dreams. Learning about our clients’ businesses and interests is important to us and helps us develop sound financial plans that promote financial security and success for each client. No two relationships are the same; at Vision Wealth, we can ensure that each client has a personalized financial plan that is closely monitored and adjusted to best suit their needs. We are blessed to have clients who, over time, become like family to us.
How does your company give back to the Columbia community?
Vision Wealth Advisors seeks to honor God in all we say and do. We each feel blessed to have the opportunity to live and raise our families in a vibrant and caring community. Our advisors serve and help lead local organizations, volunteer with civic groups and boards, coach youth sports, and are active in our churches. We also give monetarily to the causes that are near to each of our hearts. Many of our connections to service in the Columbia community begin with partnering with our clients in the charitable work they find important. As advisors, it is rewarding to see our clients give back to the community and their generosity has had a profound influence on each of us.
