How did you get involved with this business?
Growing up in Summerville, South Carolina, with a father who is a State Farm agent, I became exposed to the company at an early age. After graduating college, I began working as a Team Member and enrolled in State Farm’s Agent Aspirant Program, which is a structured development initiative for aspiring agents. Following the completion of this program, I became an approved candidate for opening an agency and was hired to open State Farm Kali Render Agency on Oct. 1, 2016. As a second generation State Farm Agent, I’m proud to be a part of a company that is not only a leader in the insurance industry, but one that invests in the agents of the future!
What do you like best about your line of work?
We treat every client like family. Every day that our team comes to work, we have the opportunity to impact others and serve this community. We appreciate the opportunity to serve the Midlands region and develop personalized strategies that protect what’s most important to our clients.
How has your life experience made you successful in your field today?
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work for five agents in two different states. This allowed me to gain invaluable experience serving clients, learn how to run an effective agency, and lead teams. I’m humbled every day for the opportunity to run my own small business in the Midlands region, but I’m also extremely grateful for the mentors who took a vested interest in my success over the years.
