What do you like best about your line of work?
I like that I never know what each day will hold for me. It would not benefit me to do repetitive work each day, as I tend to thrive more on creativity and building professional relationships. Keeping up with all of the new avenues of digital marketing, and otherwise, allows me to continue to be creative in my strategies to aid in the growth of our company.
How has the Columbia community benefited from your business?
Residential construction has always proven to have a direct impact on the economy by generating jobs for industries that produce any material associated in the building of a home, while also providing jobs for real estate agents, lawyers, and many others. When new communities are built, oftentimes you will find that new businesses are likely to follow, providing more job opportunities for local residents. Home building plays a key role in the economic growth of our communities, which benefits us all.
What are your goals for this year?
Professionally, I intend to help sales numbers grow by broadening my understanding of the digital world and implement those strategies to increase leads. I’d also like to build professional relationships by becoming more involved with the building associations and chambers in which we build. Personally, I’d like to get a dog. I know it doesn’t sound like a real goal, but my daughter has been lobbying for one for some time, so my goal is to find the perfect fit for our family.
What inspires you daily?
I find that my inspiration comes from those that I surround myself with. Does that sound cliché? Probably, but it’s true. My friends and family are the people who encourage me, make me laugh, and make me believe in myself. When you surround yourself with positive and motivated people, it begins to rub off on you.
