What type of law do you practice?
I represent individuals and families who have faced significant loss as a result of catastrophic injuries or an unexpected death. Many times, I am standing up against large insurance companies or corporations who are denying claims and failing to compensate innocent people for the significant losses they have suffered. These victims need a voice and an advocate, and I’m proud to aggressively stand up for their legal rights.
What inspires you daily?
I am inspired daily by getting to know and helping good people in our community during some of the most devastating times in their lives. As I walk alongside my clients, I strive to bring hope, clarity, and promise of a better day to people facing incredible hardships. I don’t believe in treating my clients like clients — I treat my clients like family.
How has your life experience made you successful in your practice today?
I grew up on a small farm in rural South Carolina. When you grow up with modest means, you learn to take nothing for granted and to never give up. I also learned how to communicate with people from all walks of life. This “common touch” was ingrained in me early in life and has allowed me to better understand the problems that my clients are facing and to better tell their story to judges and juries throughout the state.
