What is the mission of your business?

The mission of my business is for all of us, the 12 Gibson Girls, to give joyous and warm customer service to every single customer who steps into our store, consistently, at all times, no exceptions.

What inspires you daily?

My Savior, my Creator, my God, who is my Muse — my inspiration for all good ideas, for all beautiful gifts, for all lovely possibilities.

What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?

One thing people might be surprised to know about me is that I have been teaching Latin, ancient literature, ancient history, and senior thesis in a classical school for many years. I am an Athenian Classicist, and classical education runs in my veins!

What is your favorite pastime?

Watching Scandinavian, French, and British mysteries at night.

What do you like best about your line of work?

Meeting people daily, all day long. I absolutely love our conversations, I love getting to know the customers, I love developing a relationship with them, and I love hearing their stories, their struggles, and their victories.

What are your goals this year?

To become even more authentic, more creative, and more unique when it comes to choosing merchandise.
