What is the mission of your business?
Our mission is pretty simple; we simply want to be the best in every area of our business. We work on this every day and focus on providing exceptional customer service, creating and maintaining the best place to work, and supporting our community as we work together.
How did you get involved with the business?
I started in the industry as a kid growing up selling cars, parts and working on vehicles in my father’s businesses. After graduating Northwood University, an automotive based college, I went to work for Ford Motor Company and after 15 years I moved over to the dealership environment.
What do you like best about your line of work?
My favorite part of this job is working with my teammates. I am so blessed to have such a great group of people working with me to provide great service and satisfaction not to just each other but to our customers whom we serve every day.
What is the latest trend in your business?
The automotive landscape is changing rapidly. With the dynamic evolution of technology, the vehicles are more advanced than ever before. We are seeing big developments in autonomous and electric vehicles. As a company, we are working diligently to upgrade our training and technology, which will put us in a leadership position and improve the customer experience with seamless transparent transactions.
How does your company give back to the Columbia community?
It is our mission to be an ambassador to this community. We support several local charities, The Wounded Warriors, Columbia’s Future Leaders Scholarship, as well as the University of South Carolina and Benedict College. We also recently sponsored a First Responders event in which we provided lunch for members of Richland County Sheriff’s Department and local Fire Departments. In additon we have and will continue to provide support to charities throughout greater Columbia.
