Dr. Adam Brantley admits that the quality of a patient’s smile is his top priority. But he’s also quick to note that the frequency of those smiles isn’t far behind.
Dr. Brantley grew up watching his father treat patients and has been practicing himself now for 13 years. In that time he’s maintained a rigorous commitment to continuing education and says staying at the forefront of the field has become a given. The difference maker, he confides, is making people comfortable, even happy, while they’re in the office.
“We’re always looking for new ways to keep your mouth healthy and looking great,” Dr. Brantley says. “But that only goes so far if folks still equate seeing the dentist with an unpleasant experience.”
To that end, Dr. Brantley and his team have gone the extra mile to create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where patients of all ages can be themselves and feel at ease.
“Our patients know they’ll always have access to the latest, minimally invasive technology and that we’re going to catch things before they cause pain.”
Because of this, it doesn’t take very long for new patients to drop their guard and start joking around with the team.
“A lot of it is being right here in Shandon,” Dr. Brantley says. “We’re definitely an extension of the neighborhood, so there’s a good chance the dentist chair isn’t the only place you’re going to run into us.”
That is, when he and his team aren’t honing the latest skills. In addition to providing all preventative, restorative and comprehensive services, Brantley has completed numerous accreditations, demonstrating his mastery of advanced cosmetic dentistry. He is helping extend applications for snoring, sleep apnea prevention, as well as therapeutic Botox treatment and is a member of the major local, state and national Dental Associations.
When not focused on his patients, he recharges by spending time with his two daughters and pursuing a number of outdoor activities.
“That’s what makes me smile,” Dr. Brantley says with a laugh, “which is good. I mean who wants to see a grumpy dentist?”
