Davis Orthodontics has been helping children and adults across the Midlands perfect their smiles since 2001. Dr. Edward Davis has created a family oriented environment at both of his practice locations. He provides an “at home” atmosphere and makes patients feel cared for from the moment they walk in the door.
Dr. Davis grew up in West Columbia. He attended the University of South Carolina for his under graduate studies and MUSC for dental school. After completing dental school, he attended St. Louis University where he obtained his Certification in Orthodontics. He met Megan, his wife, while in school in St. Louis. They now reside in Springdale with their four children. Above all, Dr. Davis is dedicated to his family and community. He currently serves on the board of directors of East Point Academy School, the Town of Springdale Zoning Commission, and he coaches soccer for the West Metro Soccer league.
Dr. Davis is one of just a few Board Certified orthodontists in the Columbia area, taking pride in using the latest technology in the field of orthodontics. One such advancement is a device called Acceledent. This tool, used along with orthodontic appliances, can decrease dental discomfort, and reduce treatment time by up to 50 percent.
Dr. Davis’ main office, located in West Columbia across from Lexington Medical Center, is convenient to Lexington and downtown Columbia. The office caters to adults and children alike, featuring a comfortable lounge, internet and café nook, as well as a kid’s game room. All patients receive a Davis Rewards card that they may use to earn points redeemable for gift cards. Additionally, every month there is a contest for patients, giving them every opportunity to have fun while in treatment!
