How did you get involved in the Financial Industry?
I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pa. where my father worked as a coal miner. When the mining business was slowing down, my father took the opportunity to make a career change — one with a 401(k). As my father learned about this new benefit, I learned with him. Having been all too familiar with the stress and uncertainty that came with a lack of financial resources, this new-found knowledge ignited my passion for the world of finance. Fueled by such deep interest for the industry, I found myself accomplishing things I only dreamed about, from meeting Warren Buffett to serving as a financial advisor by the age of 21 for affluent clientele.
How did you get involved with Covington Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors?
After five years with my previous company and almost two years ago today, I was honored to join Preston Covington’s team as a financial consultant. When Preston’s long-time colleague elected to retire at the end of 2013, he sought out Preston’s experience and expertise to continue advising his clients. Committed to providing the best advice and service possible, Preston knew he needed to add a member to his team.
