What are the latest developments/innovations in your field?
The new office is more open and more social. The majority of business today is “knowledge work” in which people work with intangible materials, and in many cases, the output is intangible. The nature of this work is highly collaborative and social that often happens in a wide range of locations, with almost half of all work occurring outside the primary workspace. The new office allows for orchestrated collaboration via a live network and promotes the free flow of ideas as real estate, technology and people become more closely connected. A workplace vision that facilitates a life balance is an important recruitment tool, and the new office will undergo further change to support it.
