Kimberly Power, Carolina Paws’s owner, has always had a strong love for dogs. It was always her dream to own her own shop, and that dream became a reality on April 1, 2009 with the opening of Carolina Paws. “Shortly after opening, I realized that my customers had been looking for a special place to take their dogs,” Kimberly says. “Our success has been built on offering quality grooming along with a sincere caring for the well being of each and every dog.”
Kimberly’s goal is to provide her customers with a staff that really cares for their dogs, making each one feel as comfortable as being at home. Grooming can be very stressful for some dogs, but the staff at Carolina Paws understands that extra attention eliminates much of that stress, relaxing the dog. Customers appreciate the extra attention given to every dog in making their grooming day a special day. “I want the dogs to be excited about coming to our shop,” Kimberly says.
Carolina Paws recently relocated to a larger location, remaining close to their customer base. “We are excited to be at our new location,” Kimberly says. “We now have more space and a safer environment, away from the heavy traffic of Forest Drive.”
Carolina Paws has expanded their boarding capabilities and added a private yard for walking the dogs. The additional space also allows the dogs to have more room to roam in the shop and play with other dogs.
