Butterfly Gardens at The Haven

Photography by The Haven in The Summit

The Haven in The Summit is welcoming nature to the community with the transformation of two courtyards into beautiful gardens, creating charming spots for residents and their guests to enjoy.

A Family Garden features a playground as well as a patio table, umbrella and chairs for comfort and shade, and a Meditation Garden offers a secluded spot for solitude and reflection. A Butterfly Pavilion is a haven for butterflies, hummingbirds and a wonderful array of beautiful flowers and feeders, and it serves as a special space to honor the memory of residents who have passed.

The families of several residents designated the Butterfly Pavilion for memorials, and a picturesque fountain, named the Barrett-White Fountain, was installed in their loved ones’ memories. A special dedication for the Butterfly Pavilion took place in mid-May with a reception and a butterfly release.
