Don’t miss the 4th annual delectable food festival, Bubbie’s Brisket and Bakery: A Jewish Food Extravaganza, presented by Beth Shalom Synagogue. On Nov. 18, visit the synagogue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to enjoy mouthwatering foods, from corned beef sandwiches to tzimmes to falafel. Other foods include Matzah Ball soup, Kasha Varnishkes, stuffed cabbage and Israeli salad. And don’t forget the Baba Ganoush, Challah and Bubbie’s famous pickles!
This extravaganza of food will help sponsor many of the synagogue’s activities, as well as community projects like Habitat for Humanity, Harvest Hope Food Bank and Tuesdays with Friends, a monthly get-together for seniors of all faiths. Many of the food stations are sponsored by synagogue members and others in the community in memory or in honor of someone special.
