Z. Vance Morgan IV, DMD, MS, is a board certified prosthodontist who has been in practice for 23 years serving Columbia and the Greater Midlands. He and his team strive to provide patients with the latest care in a modern and relaxed environment. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston and earned his DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston. Dr. Morgan earned his specialty degree in prosthodontics and a Masters in Science from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
He is a past member and president of the SC State Board of Dentistry and serves as a current examiner for Dental Board Exams around the United States. In addition, he has been an Adjunct Clinical Professor at UNC School of Dentistry in the Graduate Prosthodontic Program. Dr. Morgan is a member of various dental organizations including the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and American College of Prosthodontics, and he is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honor Dental Society.
Dr. Morgan and his team work with ENTs, general dentists, and other dental specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients. Prosthodontics focuses on four components of treatment, including fixed crown and bridge work, removable dentures and partials, dental implant restorations, and maxillofacial reconstruction through dental appliances. In addition to these specific areas of dental care, both dental hygiene and general dentistry services are available in the office.
