October 08-From the Editor

We want to hear from you! You, the readers of Columbia Metropolitan magazine, are the center of our publication. You are the reason that we do what we do, and we want to know what you think about the content and look of these pages. Each issue we brainstorm story ideas – some submitted from our readers, some submitted from our advertisers and some that we dream up in our own heads. We constantly critique our own work and try to improve the editorial with every issue because we want to make sure that our product meets our readers’ high standards. After all, if you are not enjoying our magazine, then we have no reason to print it.
Our reader demographics tell us that overall you are a highly educated, affluent group of people who enjoys live concerts and theatre, visits museums and enjoys the outdoors. You are involved, active in your community and experts on the city in which you live, and we want your opinions.

Drop us a line and let us know:

How long have you been a reader?
Why do you subscribe to Columbia Metropolitan magazine?
What types of stories are you most interested in reading?
In general, what could we do to improve our coverage?
What is missing from Columbia Metropolitan?
What do you like/dislike about the look of the magazine?

We appreciate your continued support of Columbia Metropolitan magazine. With your feedback, we can continue to provide you with in-depth editorial about the people, places, homes and businesses around town. We look forward to hearing from you and implementing your requests. Also, your letter or email may be highlighted in an upcoming issue as we let our readers know what other readers enjoy or would like to see in the pages of Columbia Metropolitan magazine.
You can email me at emily@columbiametro.com or send a letter to P.O. Box 6666, Columbia, SC 29260.

As always, enjoy the issue and have a safe and happy October.

     Sincerely,

     Emily Tinch
